Zeus Austral Pacific (ZAP) is an early stage innovation company headquartered in Townsville, North Queensland. ZAPs mission is to conduct the research and development necessary to manufacture a revolutionary new motor (the ‘Zeus’ motor) developed by a team from Zeus Motors International in Denver, Colorado.
The prototype Zeus motor is possibly the most efficient motor ever designed
It is small, light weight and water proof, and runs at circa 97% efficiency at all revolving speeds.
To put that in plain language, if we were to substitute the Zeus motor into every motorised device on the planet, the efficiency savings in unused energy would immediately meet the Paris accord climate targets.

ZAP has partnered exclusively with ZMI to research and develop a quick, practical and commercially viable manufacturing process to bring the motor into worldwide circulation

ZAP is in the middle of a three phase process to achieve this.
We are currently completing phase 1 – the research and development of the means to build the motor, which we expect to complete Q3 FY 23.
Phase 2 will see us refine and manufacture a small number of motors as proof of concept, which we anticipate to be able to complete Q4 FY23.
Phase 3 consists of 2 elements​ - The commercial manufacture and sale of the Zeus motor from our Townsville Headquarters.

Following the entrance and maintenance of phase 3, ZAP plans to conduct further R+D to improve the range of ZEUS motors available, and further improve the motor itself.

And we will use our existing connections in the USA (Denver) and Europe (Jersey Island, UK) to deliver the motor to the world.

We want to put Townsville on the map as a place where the best motors in the world are manufactured. We want Townsville to be a hub where engineering and technical manufacturers seek to work in, because we have the best motor product in the world.

We are looking forward to the completion of our project, and most importantly to the day we can stamp “manufactured in Australia” on the casing of every motor we export to the world.
